HANSEL & GRETEL

Adam is currently in rehearsals for Onyx Player's 3rd show, "Hansel & Gretel"
He plays the Witch! Alongside Hansel (Alex Gay) and Gretel (Laura Adams). Miranda Donald is once again directing.

Adam shot a Coles Mastercard TV Commercial in February as part of a new campaign.
He was going crazy at the checkouts!

'PINOCCHIO" IN QUEENSCLIFF!

After a successful season of 'Pinocchio' in Ballarat & Wonthaggi, Onyx Players took the show to Queenscliff this Summer! The shows were very successful with an average audience of 200 enjoying the show!! Miranda Donald again directed the show, with Adam (Gepetto), Emma Wolfe (Pinocchio), Bekki Adams (Donkey & others) & Bryony Donald (Fairy).... Look out for the next show, 'Hansel & Gretel' where Adam will be playing the Witch!

JOHNNY SWADE!

During 2011, Adam also had an important guest role in the Family Feature Film "Johnny Swade"!
He played the important role of Mayor Candidate & Baddie, Scott Anderson.
"Set in Melbourne, Johnny Swade is a feel good Aussie adventure drama-comedy film about family, friendships, responsibilities, and with lots of laugh the whole family can enjoy."
The film directed by Van Tran & produced by Tiny Ripple Productions, is due for release in 2012!

RMIT SHORT FILMS

During 2011, Adam starred in two RMIT Short Films!
The first one was a film called "Head Case". Adam played the lead role of Mike Davies who is unknowingly tormented by his Physcologist. The film was directed by Maddie Featherby.
The second film was "We Are Not Ghost". Adam played the role of Sean, a homeless man living out of his car. The film was directed by Jo Boyle. It was a mockumentary following the lives of several homeless people living in Melbourne.

A FISTFUL OF SCRIPTS

In 2011, Adam was cast in two different Play Readings as part of "A Fistful of Scripts"
The Readings were at TheatreWorks in St Kilda and were very well recieved!
'A Fistful of Scripts' presents scripts in a 'read through' or 'staged reading' format. It is for writers, directors, actors and the audience.
The first reading in May that Adam was involved in was a script called "The Contract", where he played the character Wes.
The second reading in December was a script called "The Heart of Rex", where Adam played Prince Rochdy.
"A Fistful of Scripts" is affliated with Wisewords Media and produced by Sean McIntyre who is a script writer himself.

ATA - Showcase 2011!!

On Wednesday 7th December 2011, ATA had it's first End of Year Showcase!!
The night was fantastic! 80 Students were involved from all four locations. The showcase was held at Altona Theatre to a full house! The audience were presented with a range of Group Scenes, Two Handers & Monologues. All Students did an excellent job of showing off their talents and everyone involved had thoroughly enjoyable night.
Everyone is now looking forward to the 2012 Showcase!

Little Red Riding Hood (Wonthaggi)

Little Red Riding Hood (Wonthaggi)
Adam has just finished a just finished reprising his roles of Grandma & Dad in the Wonthaggi Summer Version of “Little Red Riding Hood”.
Produced by Onyx Players and Directed by Miranda Donald, Adam starred alongside Emma Wolf (Little Red) & Jane McKinnon (The Wolf).

The shows were enjoyed by hundreds of kids of all ages!
Adam is looking forward to playing Geppetto in “Pinocchio” later in the year for Onyx…

Dreamworld

Adam has just completed the lead role in a new Short film produced by Rovick Productions.

He plays a father who has a heart attack and wakes up 350 years later in a foreign & alien landscape.
Directed by Craig Charter and shot in Melbourne, the film is to be released in many upcoming Film Festivals.

Adam is currently rehearsing for a professional version of “Little Red Riding Hood”!
The play will run the second week of the School Holidays in Ballarat…
Adam will be playing the duel roles of Dad and a very lovely but sick Grandma!

A short film that Adam has filmed a cameo role in for the Poetry in Film Festival 2010, has been

nominated for five awards!
“The Briefcase Phenomenon” directed and produced by Siena Stone & Jalen Lyle-Holmes will be screened
on Sunday 19th September at The Palace Cinemas.
The film has been nominated for Best Cinematography, Best Overall Film, Best Direction, Audience Choice
and Best Interpretation of the Poem!

The Making Of Darcy Daniels Pefect Lie

Adam has just finished filming the lead role of Director “David Fielding” in the RMIT film,

‘The Making of D’arcy Daniels’ Perfect Lie’.
This very funny Mockumentary was filmed on location in St Kilda & Beaumaris.

The short film is produced and directed by Lachlan Rand.
Starring Adam Turnbull, Gina Morley, Brooke Tomlinson and Stavros Milionis.
It is an exclusive behind the scenes look of the making of “The greatest High School Drama ever created!”

Six Lovers Film Trailer

With production on ‘Six Lovers’ almost complete, a new trailer has been released!
